The awesomely designed MusicMan StingRay 5 is a 5-string bass guitar that will get you deep and dirty. The StingRay5 has an active 3-band preamp, MusicMan humbucker pickup with hum-canceling phantom coil, and unique 3-way switching (both coils in series mode, single coil, or both coils in parallel mode). Select hardwood body, maple neck, and Schaller BM tuners. MusicMan includes a hardshell case with the StingRay5 Bass.

The 5-string bass's soft C neck, cutaway on the upper bout, and 16" radius add comfort for intricate progressions. Incredible acoustic bass sounds are available through the Godin bass's 1/4" output jack and controlling your tone is made easy with the custom Godin preamp section voiced specifically for the A5 SA. The 2-chambered body design found in all of the A-Series instruments is also at work in the A5 SA bass. Made between 1965-1969, this bass sports a double cutaway, semi hollow thin body, with a mahogany neck, one single coil pickup and chrome hardware. These beauties are in the Vintage Price Guide starting at $1500.00 in 'LOW' condition... This Bass is Super playable!!! It comes with the original HARD SHELL CASE... *note* The headstock was professionally repaired at some time... No way of telling when, but DOES NOT interfere with playing/action/intonation at all.
